This work is an original drawing made entirely by hand on A3 cardboard.
It is not a digital elaboration, but a unique piece created with pencil, eraser and acrylic colors. A work born from the imagination, signed on the front, which celebrates the aesthetics of old oil cans - objects of the past, revisited with a personal and creative touch.
The protagonists of the drawing are numerous vintage oil cans, all different from each other: Kendal, Esso, Shell, Olio Fiat, Caltex, Castrol... Each can is characterized by bright colors, unique graphics and a deliberately imperfect rendering. Technical precision was not the goal: what matters is the overall visual impact, a kaleidoscope of shapes and shades that evoke a retro and fascinating world.
