Maybe those who are older remember it. When I was little every 50cc scooter had a Franco Morini engine.
It was a small 3 or 4 gear engine, I remember that the second gear was infinite, my scooter even though it was 50cc had a 28mm carburetor.
I spent many summers disassembling and reassembling, I was never happy, but it is a beautiful memory.
This composition, with a strong chromatic and structural impact, catapults us into a mechanical universe reinterpreted through the filter of a neo-cubist and vaguely futurist aesthetic. The work entitled Motore Franco Morini develops as a visual explosion of angular shapes and crossed volumes, where the technical subject – presumably an engine, as suggested by the inscription "MOTUL" and the wording "OIL" – is transfigured into an architecture of gears and fantasy.
