177,8x254 cm ~ Disegno, Biro, Matita
Schizzo su foglio A4 tecnica Biro e Pantone.
This glorious 80s racing car seems like the perfect embodiment of a teenage dream of freedom... made in a hurry during school recess. The lines? More nervous than a Roman barista at 8 in the morning. The strokes seem to say: “I only had one hand, and even that was arguing with perspective”.
The handlebars point to the sky as if it wanted to be the first to take off, while the saddle looks back suspiciously - perhaps it knows something we don't. And the wheels? Yes, they are round, but with that stroke they seem to turn even when stationary: movement is in confusion.
And yet... there is genius. This design has more soul than many real scooters. It's as if a young Fellini had decided to become an industrial designer for a day and had jotted down this work between one espresso and another.
In short, it is crooked, cheeky, very fast even when stationary. And that's why it's perfect.
